Women Making an Impact

Hey Ya’ll. I am Leigh Ann. I am a Jesus loving, coffee before talky, fitness fanatic, Yoga pant and messy bun circus Ringmaster by day and a Gilmore Girls binge watching, eat your supper right now or the beast will be released, Fairy tale reenactor, stare you down with eyebrows raised until you get in the bath, and in the middle of a conversation snoozer by night.

You guessed it; I am a wife and a stay-at-home mommy to a very energetic three-year-old little girl. And I love every second of it… even when it gets super exhausting and I get the urge to lock myself in our pantry and eat any and all unhealthy foods I can get my hands on!

I would love to do a little time travel with you and share my redemption story of God’s perfect love and beautiful grace that got me in to the most beautiful and fulfilling stage in my life!

Middle School… We all remember MIDDLE SCHOOL… a time in life where we have absolutely no clue who we are and what we were even created for. I had always been a carefree, dance to my own drumbeat kind of girl until the dreaded years of middle school. Insecurity dug its ugly roots into my life through the lies and judgments from all the other girls trying to figure out who they were. Awful things were said and I believed them, unfortunately! I continued to believe the lies that others said about me and grew to recognize myself with them and hate myself for them.

This insecurity grew so deep and its roots latched on to other areas and relationships in my life that I definitely wasn’t a pleasant person to be around behind closed doors. During this time, I lost sight of the beautiful and purposeful creation God had designed to advance His kingdom. I carried my insecurities in to my marriage and brow beat my husband with his past daily. Even after giving birth to the most beautiful creation I have ever laid eyes on, I still carried a hate for myself no one should ever feel. I finally fell to my knees and cried out to God and asked Him to show me who He saw me as. I finally got to a place in my life where I was sick and tired of feeling unworthy and inadequate mentally, physically, and most importantly spiritually. I wanted to be the very best version of myself for my husband and little girl.

God is faithful. Almost a year ago to date, God opened the doors to an amazing opportunity for me to receive healing. I became a health and fitness coach with Beachbody and it has ROCKED my world. You see, with the passion that I had to see other women get healthy mentally, physically, and spiritually, and love the beautiful creation that God had created them to be, I received COMPLETE healing. God has showed me through His word that the body, the creation He so beautifully and carefully designed was made for so much more!

Our bodies are not our own. Our bodies were made for God and by God. God makes ALL things beautiful. God created and designed each one of us for a divine purpose to advance His kingdom. Once I started living, believing, and applying His truth to my life, did I see amazing lifestyle changes in my life and the lives of the women He so graciously and strategically placed in my path.

So, let me tell you… YOU ARE WORTH IT. You are valuable (if you need to be reminded of that, just look at the cross… God saw you valuable enough to give His son for you). You are a beautiful temple created by God and no one or no word can ever change just how wonderful you are. You are the only You there is, no one can live out your divine purpose but you… THAT’S JUST HOW IMPORTANT YOU ARE! Amazing, huh?

Redeemed, Transformed, and Loving all aspects of life,

Leigh Ann
